(Bob Leslie was the son of Mayme but adopted by Duretta’s parents on Mayme’s early death)
Birth Certificate

Frances Duretta Leslie was born in Duluth Minnesota January 1, 1899. She  moved with her family to Owen Sound, Ontario in 1901 and then moved to Berlin, Ontario in 1912. In 1989 and 1997, she wrote two books on her family history and life in the 20th century. Copies of these books are part of the local historical collection in the Grace Schmidt Room at the Kichener Public Library.
